Palma Nova Resort Guide

Overview

The popular resort of Palma Nova is a great choice for a family holiday and is also a very short distance to the liveliest well known resort Magaluf. With its fantastic sandy beaches, water sports, lots of shops, bars and restaurants, this is a perfect holiday resort with plenty on offer. Palma Nova resort also has very good bus service taking you to either the Capital Palma, the local attractions such as MarineLand and the water parks, plus many more.

Location

Palma Nova is situated on the south west cost of Majorca, about 15km or 10 miles west of the island capital Palma.
Transfer time from the Palma Airport to Palma Nova Resort is approx 30 mins by taxi or 45 mins to 1hr 15 mins by coach transfer.

Beaches

One of the best reasons to holiday in Palma Nova is its golden beaches. There are three beaches with clear blue waters and a long promenade that links them altogether.

Nightlife

Palma Nova is a not as lively as Magaluf, although has a range of bars and discos and English themed pubs that cater for people of all ages. Magaluf is a short work or taxi ride and has the best nightlife on the island with some nightclubs where some of the top DJ’s go every year.

Restaurants

There is a good variety of local and international cuisine, with quite a few fast food outlets.

Shopping

During the summer months, there are lots of supermarkets and souvenir shops. There is also more choice at Magaluf.
